Reviews about Gerbion ginseng
At one time, the appearance of various ginseng preparations caused a real stir. Numerous products created on its basis were offered everywhere: creams, ointments, decoctions, solutions, capsules, tablets, and so on. Many people were convinced that almost anything could be cured with ginseng.
It should be noted that this attitude towards this plant continues to this day. This remedy is often used by patients when they need to improve their general condition, become more alert and get rid of drowsiness. At the same time, reviews of Gerbion ginseng are usually positive.
Quite often, users report that they felt the effectiveness of this drug literally after 2-3 days of use. They note an increase in physical and mental activity, energy that lasts throughout the day. People also get less tired and don’t feel weak at all.
When taking such drugs, you should always remember that independent use is not recommended. As you know, symptoms of weakness, fatigue, etc. may indicate the development of a chronic disease. Therefore, it is better to consult a doctor first. In addition, long-term use and high dosages can lead to the development of unwanted overdose symptoms, which means they should not be abused.
Herbion ginseng
Herbion ginseng is a herbal medicine that has a complex effect on the body. Increases general tone, stimulates the central nervous system, eliminates weakness, facilitates falling asleep and improves sleep quality, prevents arterial hypotension, increases physical endurance and mental performance, the ability to adapt to adverse conditions, improves the lipid profile, normalizes blood glucose levels, stimulates the secretory function of the adrenal glands. The therapeutic effect is due to the presence of biologically active substances in the complex (primarily triterpene saponins ginsenosides). The pharmacokinetic parameters of the drug have not been studied; only the pharmacokinetic properties of individual ginsenosides are known. In particular, ginsenoside Rg1 is rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract and undergoes metabolic transformations in the liver. Elimination from the body occurs through urine and feces. Herbion ginseng is indicated for asthenic syndrome of various nature, prolonged or ultra-intense physical and mental stress, during recovery from infections, to increase the body's resistance to adverse conditions and environmental factors. Herbion ginseng is not used in case of individual intolerance to any active or auxiliary component of the drug, hypertension, increased excitability of the nervous system, painful lack of sleep, bleeding, fever, epilepsy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The drug is not used in pediatric practice due to insufficient clinical data on its effectiveness and safety in patients of this age group. Single and daily dose – 1 capsule. The optimal time to take it is after the morning meal. The capsule does not imply any disruption of its integrity and should be swallowed whole. The duration of the medication course is 1-2 months. The drug is taken as a course; courses can be repeated if necessary.
The time interval between courses is 1 month. The drug has a favorable safety profile and is generally well tolerated by patients. In rare cases, frequent (more than 3 times a day) bowel movements with watery stools, painful lack of sleep, cephalalgia, increased nervousness, a painful sensation in the epigastric region, chest, oral cavity and pharynx, preceding vomiting (as well as vomiting itself), frequent palpitations, arterial hypertension, nosebleeds, pathological decrease in blood sugar levels, allergies. With prolonged use of ginseng preparations in large doses, problems with falling asleep and depth of sleep may occur, increased nervousness, arterial hypertension, diarrhea, and skin rashes may develop. Herbion ginseng is not recommended to be taken together with the direct anticoagulant warfarin: in rare cases, this can lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of treatment. Herbion ginseng potentiates the effects of psychostimulants and drugs that have a pronounced stimulating effect on the respiratory center (caffeine, camphor, etc.). The drug is an antagonist to drugs that suppress the central nervous system, including barbituric acid derivatives, tranquilizers (including benzodiazepines), and antiepileptic drugs. Herbion ginseng potentiates the effects of glucose-lowering drugs and increases the likelihood of developing tolerance to loop diuretics. When prescribing Gerbion ginseng to persons suffering from diabetes mellitus and/or having congenital or acquired lactose intolerance, it is necessary to take into account that the drug contains milk sugar as an adjuvant in the amount of 21 mg per single dose. The drug is not recommended to be taken in the evening, because it may cause insomnia. The manufacturer puts a capsule with a hydrosorbent in the bottle with the drug, which should not be swallowed.
