What are interferons


Interferons (IFNs) are an independent group of cytokines, secreted proteins that play a critical role in the functioning of the immune system of humans and all vertebrates.

The list of the main tasks of this community included the development of the most economically feasible and efficient methods for the production of IFN, as well as its purification.
