When taking the drug, you need to pay attention to the dosage. The average daily dosage is 40-160 mcg, cases of taking 200 mcg are not uncommon, but 120 mcg is a completely acceptable dose. There is another interesting property of this drug: it increases the level of fat burning from course to course. Typically, an athlete starts with one tablet per day and then increases the dosage by one tablet daily to achieve the optimal dosage. The main thing to remember is that drug tolerance is individual. Listen to your body.

The drug should be taken for two weeks, followed by a break of 14 days, in order for beta-adrenergic receptors to recover. Otherwise, due to loss of receptor sensitivity, the effectiveness of clenbuterol will begin to decline. It is recommended to take daily, despite the high half-life of more than a day.

Misconceptions about Clenbuterol

There are many myths regarding Clenbuterol. One of the most common misconceptions is that the drug has an anti-catabolic - anabolic effect. It did not appear out of nowhere. This was facilitated by testing with animals. However, even huge dosages of more than 1 milligram administered daily to horses produced a similar effect in some animals and only to a small extent.

Experimental tests of Clenbuterol on animals have nothing to do with the effect of the drug on the human body. A dosage of 1000 mcg (1 mg) can be administered to horses. For humans it is lethal. And even if Clenbuterol has an anabolic effect in large doses, then, unfortunately, for an athlete who uses the drug in small quantities, this does not make any difference. Therefore, taking medication for an anti-catabolic effect does not make any sense.

Clenbuterol acts exclusively as a fat burner and is prescribed for asthma. It does not have any other effects; it is advisable to take it during the drying period. Any other properties attributed to Clenbuterol, if there are any, their influence is negligible and completely invisible to the athlete. As a fat burner, on the contrary, Clenbuterol has proven itself only on the positive side. You should not treat it as a “miracle” remedy that in itself gets rid of fat deposits. It has a fat-burning effect only with well-designed training and nutrition.

The drug speeds up metabolism and helps the body begin to use fat as a source of energy, given that it does not receive enough calories from food. It is also necessary to remember about individual characteristics. A well-designed regimen, training, and diet sometimes do not allow the athlete to fully experience the effects of Clenbuterol. The rationality of taking these tablets during the drying period can only be assessed by constant monitoring of the results achieved. The main thing is, in pursuit of the effect, do not forget about caution.

Along with tablets, Clenbuterol can also be purchased in syrup form. The latter contains sugar. This makes it not the best choice for an athlete. It is better to give preference to tablets.

Side effects

Clenbuterol, like any drug, has side effects. These include:

  • Nausea;
  • Headache;
  • Insomnia;
  • Increased excitability;
  • Sense of anxiety;
  • Heart rate (heart rate) disturbances;
  • Increased pressure;
  • Tremor (hand shaking).

However, don't worry. As a rule, all side effects disappear after 5-7 days of use. Personally, I noticed almost no side effects when using a dosage of 120 mcg. To reduce side effects and increase the duration of use, clenbuterol is taken together with ketotifen.

Uses with other drugs

1. An excellent combination would be the combined use of clenbuterol at a dosage of 120-160 mcg with metformin (2500 mg). Thus, these drugs manage to enhance each other’s actions. In this case, Clenbuterol helps eliminate the negative properties of metformin, in particular, the feeling of fatigue.

2. Anabolic steroids such as oxandrolone and testosterone also have the ability to enhance the effect of clenbuterol.

3. It is recommended to use the drug together with triiodothyronine only for experienced athletes.

The drug's ability to burn fat cannot be compared to the use of ephedrine with caffeine. Despite all the side effects that may discourage people who decide to take clenbuterol, it justifies its use and is used quite often during drying. I would call it an indispensable assistant in the fight against cortisol and body fat, while it has mild anabolic properties.

The main feature of clenbuterol for a bodybuilder is that the drug combines the ability to burn fat deposits and promote muscle building. Naturally, the increase will not be as significant as when taking some other medications, and will remain within reason.
