Bepanten is a drug that promotes tissue renewal and healing. Dexpanthenol, which is its main active component, is responsible for the processes of repair and regeneration of the epithelium, restoring and healing damaged epithelium. The product is available in two forms, differing in the additional components included in the composition - cream and ointment for external application. INN of the drug: Dexpanthenol.
Bepanten is prescribed for:

Bepanten ointment is intended to eliminate skin cracks, scratches, and diaper rash. This dosage form contains other auxiliary components: wax, liquid paraffin, almond oil. One gram of ointment, like the cream, contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol.
