- 1 lozenge Strepsils with Vitamin C contains 1.2 mg of dichlorobenzyl alcohol , 100 mg of vitamin C and 0.6 mg of amylmetacresol . Additional substances: sunset yellow dye, levomenthol, propylene glycol, red-orange flavoring, ponceau edicol, tartaric acid, hardener from liquid sugar and glucose to produce a tablet weighing 2.6 grams.
Special instructions for the use of the drug Strepsils
If symptoms of the disease persist for more than 3 days and are accompanied by high fever, headache and other symptoms, it is necessary to clarify the diagnosis. Do not exceed the dose indicated above. When prescribing the drug to patients with diabetes, it is necessary to take into account that 1 Strepsils lozenge with honey and lemon contains 2.6 g of sugar. The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate complex machinery. When using the drug during pregnancy and lactation, it is necessary to take into account the ratio of benefit to the mother and risk to the fetus/child.
