The effect of the drug on the body
Pumpan tablets and drops, reviews of which are mostly positive on various websites (but it is not possible to verify their authenticity), according to the instructions for use, have the following medicinal properties:
- anti-ischemic;
- metabolic;
- cardiotonic;
- hypotensive.
According to the official instructions, when used systematically, the drug has the following effects on the body:
- stabilizes heart rate;
- reduces adrenergic impulses;
- increases the amount of alpha lipoproteins and lowers cholesterol levels, resulting in an antianginal effect and helps reduce cholesterol plaques;
- activates cellular energy metabolism and oxygen supply to the myocardium, thereby increasing the physical endurance of the body and the volume of intracoronary reserve;
- stabilizes the prothrombin index and fibrogen level in the blood;
- stabilizes the vegetative-vascular system;
- activates intracardiac hemodynamics;
- has a mild diuretic effect.
Since the drug is homeopathic, in order for its medicinal effect to be clearly noticeable, it must be taken systematically and for a sufficiently long time. For this reason, in the case of acute diseases that require immediate relief of the patient’s condition, “Pumpan” is prescribed as an additional therapy. It is believed that over time, when the therapeutic effect of the drug becomes obvious, the dose of the main therapy can be reduced.

Thanks to the herbal medicinal components included in the composition, Pumpan drops and tablets (patient reviews confirm their effectiveness) have a wide range of medicinal properties, which we will consider further.
Pumpan
Pumpan is a multicomponent medicine for use in homeopathy. It is used in combination therapy of arterial hypertension, acute or chronic damage to the heart muscle that occurs as a result of a decrease or cessation of arterial blood supply to the myocardium, 1-2 degrees of cardiac failure (when the heart cannot pump blood in sufficient quantities, as a result of which organs and tissues experience deficiency oxygen and valuable nutrients), vegetative-vascular dystonia. The greatest effectiveness is ensured by taking the drug half an hour before or 1 hour after meals. At the initial stage of development of the pathological process or in situations requiring rapid alleviation of symptoms, the drug is taken 8-10 drops every 30-60 minutes until the desired result is achieved (but not more than 8 times a day). According to general recommendations, the frequency of taking the drug is three times a day. Pumpan is well tolerated by patients. In rare cases, hypersalivation is observed. The drug combines well with other drugs and has no pharmacological incompatibilities. Considering the herbal nature of most of the components of Pumpan, you should not worry if during storage the solution becomes somewhat cloudy and loses its taste and smell: this is not evidence of a weakening of effectiveness and loss of quality. When Pumpan is included in the combined pharmacotherapy of angina, the risk of developing another attack is reduced by 3-5 times. Thus, the patient's need for nitrates and other emergency medications is reduced.
In the initial stages of arterial hypertension, the use of Pumpan as part of monotherapy allows normalizing blood pressure; at more advanced stages of the disease, Pumpan is used as an adjuvant, which reduces the risk of a hypertensive crisis. In addition to the above, the use of Pumpan reduces the risk of developing coronary artery disease and atherosclerosis, because its natural ingredients improve lipid profile. The course of treatment averages 2-3 months. Improvement and stabilization of the patient's condition is noted already after 1-2 months of taking the drug. Pumpan has confirmed its effectiveness in a series of clinical trials. In one of these studies, the drug was tested on individuals suffering from coronary artery disease, stable angina and chronic heart failure. All study participants received basic drug therapy, including angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, diuretics, beta-blockers, digitalis preparations and long-acting forms of nitroglycerin (as indicated). After decompensation of CHF, participants were randomly divided into two groups, representatives of one of which received Pumpan 10 drops three times a day half an hour before meals, the other received placebo. The duration of clinical monitoring was 2 months. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the addition of Pumpan to the pharmacotherapy of patients with coronary artery disease and stable angina in combination with moderate CHF provides a significant reduction in the number of angina episodes, reduces the need for nitroglycerin, improves quality of life and does not cause side effects.
