Arnica granules homeopathy. Instructions, indications for use, price, reviews

Mountain arnica (Arnica montana) or mountain ramwort is a plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. It has been used by both classical medicine and homeopathy since ancient times. Arnica was introduced into the latter by its founder Samuel Hahnemann in 1805, and it is still used today. The drug is prepared from freshly squeezed juice of the whole plant during its flowering period.

Release forms and composition of the drug

The homeopathic natural remedy is available to patients in the form of oral granules, which are packaged in special small tubes made of plastic of 4 g.

The tubes are easy to use and are placed in small individual boxes made of cardboard. The medicine comes with instructions, which describe in detail all the features of use, possible complications during use and contraindications.

The drug contains an active component in the form of arnica montana extract, which has the main therapeutic effect on the patient’s body. The product contains lactose and sucrose as auxiliary components. They do not have therapeutic properties, but are necessary for the formation of granules.

Who is arnica intended for?

The constitutional type of mountain arnica includes good-natured people. Women love to flirt, but are devoted to family and relatives. They do not like mental work and are somewhat inhibited. They often engage in heavy physical labor, and at some periods of their lives they do not want to have contact with anyone. They complain of fears, including the fear of death. In general, they are very friendly, but in the event of problems, even the most trivial ones, they become irritable.

A distinctive feature of the constitutional type is a constant change in mood during illness. The patient may either ask for help or ask to leave him. They often suffer from various types of mental trauma. An example of the behavior of arnica montana type people is nervousness and high sensitivity of the body. When sick, they prefer loneliness. They don't like open spaces.

Arnica montana has the best effect on full-blooded people, a little less strong on weakened, anemic people suffering from shortness of breath. Patients belonging to this constitutional type do not like tight clothes, and in addition, they often have a rich complexion.

Instructions for use, dosage

Adult patients take the drug sublingually, that is, place it under the tongue or dissolve in the mouth until dissolved. Arnica montana granules

Patient ageDosage and duration of use
Children from birth to 3 yearsFor such patients, the drug is prescribed in courses of 2-3 weeks, depending on the severity of the manifestations. A single dosage is 1 granule, repeat the dose 2-3 times during the day. Before administration to patients of this age, the product is added to 10-15 ml of water and dissolved. This makes it easier to use and prevents complications that may arise if the granule enters the respiratory tract. If necessary, the daily dosage can be increased. Correction of the course duration is carried out only by a pediatrician.
Patients from 3 to 7 yearsSuch patients are prescribed 2 granules per dose, which is repeated 3 times a day. Depending on the degree of neglect of the violations, the duration of the course is 2-4 weeks. Patients at this age can be given granules without prior dissolution in water, but it is necessary to monitor the process of taking the product.
Patients from 7 to 18 years oldPatients at this age take 3-4 granules at a time, depending on the severity of the disorder. In case of advanced disease, the dose is repeated 3 times a day; in case of a mild degree of the disorder, it is enough to take the medicine 2 times. The duration of the homeopathic course is 2-4 weeks, which also depends on the severity of the symptoms of the disorder and the presence of associated abnormalities.
AdultsFor adults, the optimal dose of the drug is 5 granules per dose. Repeat use up to 4 times a day, which is determined during examination and identification of the severity of the disorder. Treatment can last up to 8 weeks, but the specific duration is determined by the doctor.

Standard dosages and regimens are used in most cases, but a preliminary examination of the patient is always required to prescribe the optimal dosage and duration of therapy.

For injuries

For injuries to soft tissues, muscles and bones, the drug is used in a standard dosage, which differs depending on age. In this case, the treatment is combined with the use of other medications that have more pronounced properties.

The therapeutic course lasts from 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the form of pathology and the degree of tissue damage. For soft tissue injuries, 3-4 weeks are sufficient; for bone injuries, the course lasts at least 8 weeks.

For muscle weakness

In case of such a violation, the drug is also taken in a standard dosage. Treatment usually lasts 2 weeks, after which the patient undergoes examination. If necessary, the therapeutic course is extended or therapy is discontinued.

It is usually enough for children to take the granules in short courses; for adults, the course is often extended.

For diseases in the field of otolaryngology

In case of diagnosing pathologies of the throat or hearing aid, the drug is used in a standard dosage depending on age. In this case, the course of therapy for children is usually 2-3 weeks.

Adults can use the granules for 3-4 weeks, depending on the severity of the disorder. Repeated courses can be carried out after a 3-4 month break.

In ophthalmology

If the visual apparatus is damaged, granules are taken only in combination with other medications with more pronounced properties. This is due to the need to quickly obtain a therapeutic effect, which is not achieved only by taking granules.

The dosage for treatment does not differ from the standard one, but therapy lasts at least 4 weeks for adults and children. Correction of the course duration is carried out only by a doctor.

In gynecology

To normalize the menstrual cycle and improve the functioning of the reproductive system, women take 5 granules 3 times a day. Therapy lasts at least 4 weeks, after which the doctor re-examines and evaluates the effectiveness of treatment.

In the presence of chronic gynecological pathologies, repeated courses are carried out at least 2 times a year in order to prevent the progression of the disorder.

In dermatology

With the development of dermatological pathologies, the product is used in courses of 3-4 weeks, depending on the severity of the symptoms.

The dosage for therapy is standard, but sometimes it is increased by 2 times if there is no therapeutic effect within 2 weeks after the start of use.

Methods for procuring raw materials

As already mentioned, the most useful and frequently used are the inflorescences, which are best harvested as soon as they begin to bloom. It is preferable to collect on sunny, dry days, after the dew has disappeared. In order for the plant to reproduce in the growing area, you need to leave a few flowers for seeding. Whole flowers are plucked or cut with scissors as close to the base as possible so that there is no stem. Often the flower baskets of this plant are affected by flies, so you should carefully inspect all plants for cutting so as not to grab a flower with fly eggs. The collected raw materials should not be left in the container for more than 5 hours. This can lead to self-warming.

Drying of raw materials is carried out in a cool place, which is protected from direct sunlight and well ventilated, or outdoors, but always in the shade.

You should not try to turn the raw material over during drying - the inflorescences are very fragile and crumble easily.

Under appropriate weather conditions, arnica dries within a week, to a maximum of 10 days. Also, modern electric dryers do an excellent job of drying raw materials (optimal temperature 55-60 °C).

The shelf life of dried inflorescences is 2 years.
